Hi! I’m Shannon, and I’m a mom, a baker, an event planner, and (almost) an undefeated champion of all family game nights. But first and foremost, I’m a mom of two young girls (plus a dog and a tortoise), so I know very well what it’s like to be pulled in a million different directions and always in need of more time. 

That’s why I started Another Mother’s Help. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been licking the batter off the spoons with my mom, grandmother, and aunts… picking up a lot of baking tips along the way. But it wasn’t until I had my first daughter, when I was looking to escape the long hours, late nights, and endless weekends of the retail world, that I thought I might be able to use those old, secret family recipes to bring joy to our community. 

Thus, Another Mother was born! I’ve spent the last few years raising my girls and being that extra set of hands for countless families... and I’ve never been happier! There is truly nothing more fulfilling than being able to share my passion for desserts with others and show my kids that following your heart is not just for Disney characters.
